After completing undergraduate degrees in Biological Sciences and Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I received a Gates Cambridge Scholarship and pursued a PhD at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Dr David Norman in the Department of Earth Sciences. After completing my PhD, I was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago, working with Professor Callum Ross to understand feeding in crocodilians, lizards and primates using both in vivo experimental methods and computer modeling.

I lecture in the M-level courses Biomechanics and Functional Morphology (EASC M0024) and Current Controversies in Palaeobiology and Macroevolution (EASC M0001), as well as courses at the University of Cambridge.
