Research summary

My research interests include the atomic-scale structure and properties of liquids and glasses under extreme conditions and deep earth mineral physics. I make experimental measurements using in situ synchrotron x-ray and neutron scattering techniques at central facilities, including Diamond Light Source (UK), the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (France), and the Institut-Laue Langevin research reactor (France).
Specific projects and techniques include: 
  • The atomic-scale structure of disordered materials (liquids and glasses).
