Research summary

My current research is part of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) major research program “Volatiles, Geodynamics and Solid Earth Controls on the Habitable Planet”, in which I work in the Bristol-led consortium “The volatile legacy of the Earth”.

My role is to investigate the origin and delivery of Earth’s volatiles during the Late Heavy Bombardment, by making high-precision mass independent selenium (Se) isotopic measurements of various meteorites and compare these with composition of the Earth.
