Pre-Clinical Research to develop and test new Drug and Devices

Prof Ascione is developing and testing new cardiovascular drugs and biomedical devices in preclinical models operated at NHS standards. Biography

Professor Ascione was born in the village of S. Maria la Bruna, near Pompei, Italy.  He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1993 at the University Hospital "Federico II", Naples, Italy. He completed his 5 year specialist surgical training in Cardiac Surgery in 1999. He moved to UK at the end of 1999 to stay.
