Biography

Dr Bond is a senior lecturer in vascular cell signalling within the School of Translational Health Sciences at the University of Bristol

He completed his BSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Nottingham in 1994 before joining Prof. Andrew Newby’s group, initially at the University of Cardiff, Wales (later moving with Prof. Newby to Bristol) where he studied the regulation of matrix metalloproteinase gene expression by inflammatory cytokines and growth factors.
