Research summary

Harry is a NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Neurology. He completed his medical training and DPhil in Clinical Neurosciences in Oxford, before moving to Bristol to undertake his Neurology training in 2015. He took up his current position in July 2017.

Harry's research aims to develop biomarkers  that allow the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease in its earliest stages, before the onset of motor symptoms. Neurodegeneration in the substantia nigra starts many years before motor symptoms emerge and the final diagnosis of Parkinson’s can be made.
