Biography

Professor Guy Lloyd-Jones FRS studied at Huddersfield Polytechnic (BSc 1989), Oxford University (DPhil 1992, with John M. Brown FRS) and Basel University (Royal Society postdoc with Andreas Pfaltz), before joining Bristol in 1996. He is recipient of the RSC Hickinbottom Fellowship (2000), Corday Morgan Medal (2003) Reaction Mechanisms Prize (2007); and Physical Organic Award / Ingold Lectureship (2013), the AstraZeneca Academic Award (2003), the Pfizer, AstraZeneca, GSK, Syngenta Process Chemistry Prize (2010), and a Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award (2008). He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) in 2013. Group Website
