Biography

Guy Lloyd-Jones FRS studied at Huddersfield Polytechnic (BSc 1989), Oxford University (DPhil 1992, J M Brown FRS) and Basel University (A Pfaltz), before joining Bristol (1996-2013). He is recipient of the RSC Hickinbottom Fellowship (2000), Corday Morgan Medal (2003) Reaction Mechanisms Prize (2007); and Ingold Lectureship (2013), the AstraZeneca Academic Award (2003), the Pfizer, AstraZeneca, GSK, Syngenta Process Chemistry Prize (2010), and a Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award (2008). He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) and appointed to the Forbes Chair of Organic Chemistry at Edinburgh in 2013. Group Website
