The impact of anthropogenic noise on the shore crab Carcinus maenas

I will be looking at the effects anthropogenic noise has on the shore crab Carcinus maenas focussing mainly on the adult crab, with the possibility of expanding into juvenile and larval stages of its life cycle. In this research I will be looking into the impacts anthropogenic noise from different sources has on varying aspects of the behaviour of C.maenas with the possibility of studying its effect on aspects of the crabs physiology and development.
