Biography

I did my first degree (BSc Hons. Behavioural Science) and PhD at the University of Nottingham under the supervision of Professor Chris Barnard. My PhD research focussed on the foraging behaviour of honeybees. I spent two years as Teaching Fellow at the University of Derby, then moved to the University of Glasgow to work with Graeme Ruxton on the evolution of antipredator defences. In 2010 I moved to Bristol to work on an EPSRC grant with Alasdair Houston on the evolution of decision making mechanisms.
