I am expert in the mechanical properties of the spine, and in the events that lead to intervertebral disc prolapse ("slipped disc"), disc degeneration, back pain, and sciatica. I have extensive medico-legal experience. I am also expert in the mechanical properties of articular cartilage, and in the mechanical initiation of osteoarthritis. I am not medically qualified, and am NOT expert in the clinical management of back pain or arthritis.
