Out of school learning; research ethics; identity, ethnic diversity and the home; new genetics and society; widening access to higher education; literacy learning, numeracy learning and transfer.
I am currently employed on the Becta-funded 1:1 Mobile Learning Project.
My previous doctoral research focused on ethnicity and boundaries - initially on encapsulation and inter-generational differences amongst the British Chinese community and at a later date, on crossing social and genetic boundaries in constructing the Human Genome Diversity Project.
