Areas of expertise |
I am an applied geophysicist whose principal research interests lie in imaging and modelling fractured rocks. I have a strong multidisciplinary background in earth sciences.
My particular interests are in imaging fractures to ensure safe underground storage of greenhouse gases, monitoring hydro-fracture stimulations for tight and shale gas, and in using numerical models to understand the geomechanical response of producing oil reservoirs.
I am based in the geophysics group of the School of Earth Sciences, Bristol University.

Media experience |
I have provided interviews for Inside Out West, a local TV program, on hydraulic fracturing and shale gas. I have written articles and letters that have been published in local newspapers.
