Areas of expertise |
My interests largely concern the ecology and control of economically important arthropods (flies, fleas, lice, mites and ticks) which spend all or some portion of their lives parasitising livestock, poultry or companion animals.
Interests in general pests include nuisance insects which affect humans and insects that act as vectors of a wide range of pathogens. My work also encompasses studies of the ecology of dung-breeding insects.
