| Areas of expertise | My group is studying mechanisms of hormone signalling, with a particular emphasis on factors which determine hormone responsiveness of target tissues. Our interests include the growth hormone and prolactin receptors (both of which are cell surface receptors of the cytokine receptor superfamily), as well as the glucocorticoid and oestrogen receptors (both members of the steroid receptor family of nuclear receptors). |
