Areas of expertise |
I am an experimental petrologist specialising in the use of the Laser-Heated Diamond Anvil Cell to perform high-pressure, high-temperature measurements of the physical and chemical properties of planetary materials. These properties include equations of state, melting behaviour and phase relations.
My present work concentrates on attempting to constrain the composition, structure, and history of the Earth's core through experimental investigations of iron-rich alloys.
