| Areas of expertise | My research spans the main branches of accounting: financial reporting, management accounting and auditing but maintains a public service focus. I am currently researching the impact of convergence of financial reporting practice on public services and investigating financial accountability across different modes of provision (executive agencies, not-for-profit sector and commercial companies). I was a non executive director of a large NHS Trust 2000-2005 where she chaired the audit and finance committees. I am a member of the NHS national costing committee. |
