My 2014 book 'From Frontiers to Football: An Alternative History of Latin America' analyses Latin America's relationship with the rest of the world since 1800.
I have published widely on the histories of Colombia, Venezuela, Peru and Brazil.
My current research projects include the history of sport in South America, the peace process in Colombia, and innovations in digital storytelling.
