Areas of expertise |
I am a veterinary surgeon specialising in infectious diseases of small ruminants, primarily sheep. I have an active research programme investigating the cause of footrot the main of cause of lameness in sheep. The disease is caused by the anaerobic bacterium Dichelobacter nodosus and we are currently investigating best practice for controlling the disease on farm.
