| Areas of expertise | The area of my research is mathematical biology. My current research focuses on problems of mathematical neuroscience. In particular, I am interested in building and analysing mathematical models of calcium dynamics and regulation in developing inner hair cells as well as dendritic morphogenesis. I also work on theoretical models of different types of endocrine cells, such as pituitary cells and pancreatic beta cells. I use dynamical systems and partial differential equations theory in developing the models. |
