| Areas of expertise | My research lies in the engineering of composite/multiphase materials by tailoring their structures at the nano-, micro- and meso-scales to meet specific engineering applications. This includes the exploration of the latest advances in nanotechnology which opens a new horizon in the application of materials. we are actively working in the following areas: (1) polymeric nanocomposite coatings for aerospace applications (2) magnetic microwire enabled multifunctional composites for a wide range of engineering applications such as structural health monitoring, EMI sheilding as well as microwave absorptions. |
