Areas of expertise |
I am an archaeologist with wide ranging interests spanning the historic periods. I have undertaken field research in east Africa (Kenya, Zanzibar), Egypt, Sri Lanka, Panama, Honduras, Belize, Bermuda, St Lucia, St Kitts, France, as well as Britain.
I have particular interests in 'historical archaeology' working on important historical issues of our time, such as the spread of religion, slavery, colonialism. I can also advise on local archaeology, and how archaeology works within the planning process,

Media experience |
I have extensive experience of working with the press, TV and radio. I have contributed to many TV programmes in UK and US (e.g. Discovery Channel) and present Time Flyers for BBC2 (filming summer 2003)
