Recent research has focused on differences between men and women in relation to mental health, suicidal behaviour, and non-communicable diseases including bowel cancer, and also work on gender differences in access to health care. Main sources of research funding in recent years include the Department of Health, the World Health Organisation and the Leverhulme Trust. |
