| Areas of expertise | My research focuses on understanding the factors that influence children and adolescents physical activity, screen-viewing and dietary behaviours and strategies to change these behaviours to prevent obesity and associated illnesses such as type 2 diabetes. My fellowship focuses on how parental and family factors influence children’s behaviours and developing new approaches to working with families to help children be as active as possible. I am also very interested in pragmatic interventions to increase children’s physical activity. |
