Areas of expertise Academic discipline: organisational behaviour/studies.

My main expertise lies in the spread of management ideas, especially through management consultancy. I have led research projects and published books (e.g. 2009) and articles on internal and external management consultancy. I advise companies, government departments and industry bodies on the use of consultancy.

I am currently (2010-2011) researching the organisation and use of internal management consultancy through a project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
Media experience Interviews with television (ITV), radio (BBC Radio4) and numerous newspapers (e.g. Financial Times), mostly on subject of management consultancy (e.g. use in public sector).
