Areas of expertise |
Our group works on investigating the molecular genetics of neuropeptide and other hormone receptors, with particular reference to the molecular basis of the structural and functional diversity of receptors in the hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and peripheral tissues such as the mammary gland, uterus, ovary and kidney.
Key receptors being studied are the vasopressin and oxytocin receptors, novel oestrogen receptor GPR30, and the recently characterised apelin receptor (APJ).
