My background is in agriculture and my main research interests are in animal welfare. I specialise in farm animal welfare, including the welfare of farmed fish.
I am also a chartered statistician and an epidemiologist and as such, much of my work uses studies of populations. I am qualified to review and comment on scientific study methodology, design and analysis.
