| Areas of expertise | The wisdom literature of the Old Testament (chiefly the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Job) deal with huge areas of human experience often thought to be not the concern of the religious; for instance, work and workplace relationships, parenting, business ethics, animal welfare. My academic enquiries into these subjects are informed by the experience of working as a Merchant banker in the City through the crises of the 1980's and 23 years as a Pastor in some of the biggest non-conformist churches in the UK. |
