Over twenty years experience as a practitioner and academic with a specific interest in professional ethics for counselling and psychotherapy.
I am author of the leading text book, 'Standards and Ethics for Counselling in Action' (Second edition) (Sage, 2000) and a major initiative in ethics developed for the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, the 'Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy' (BACP, 2002) which is also being adopted by other national bodies.
