Current Research
Cancer epigenetics - We are conducting genome-wide methylation screening using microarrays in order to assess epigenetic lesions in human cancers and the downstream consequences of gene deregulation.
Regulation and cellular functions of the Wilms' tumour suppressor gene, WT1 - Identification of an antisense WT1 promoter has led us to propose novel control mechanisms for eukaryotic gene expression involving antisense RNAs and silencer elements. We also identified a novel WT1 form whose functions are being invesigated.
