Areas of expertise |
My current research centres around the application of rapid kinetic and crystallographic methods to study of the structure, mechanism and inhibition of both serine and metallo-beta-lactamases. I am interested in the molecular mechanisms by which resistance arises to a range of important antibiotic classes. I am also investigating the mechanisms by which P. aeruginosa, establishes infection.
