| Areas of expertise | My expertise covers a spectrum of wireless communications techniques and technologies, particularly as applied to the Physical Layer, Medium and Multiple Access and Radio Resource Management. I emphasise Cross Layer Design philosophies as applied to all of these and have work on all these in the context of WiFi, WiMax and LTE standards. I lead Bristol's involvement in a project called 'Green Radio' which is concerned with improving the energy efficiency of wireless communication networks with a view to minimising future environmental impact. |
