Areas of expertise |
My work is aimed at improved understanding of past abrupt climate changes known as Dansgaard-Oeschger events. I focus on the rapid changes in climate and atmospheric methane concentrations documented in ice-core records. The majority my work involves climate modelling using general circulation models, but I am also interested the simulation of other Earth system components such as vegetation and wetlands.
I have experience in non-linear Bayesian inference applied to inverse geoscience problems.
