I apply geophysical methods to investigate how and why volcanoes deform and evaluate associated mass changes beneath them. This information helps in assessing periods of volcanic unrest, which may represent a prelude to eruption. I am involved in research at volcanoes in Spain Italy, Greece, Japan, Indonesia and Bolivia. |
