Areas of expertise |
My research focuses on the molecular mechanisms regulating vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation. In particular, we are interested in the role of extracellular proteases, ECM remodelling and ECM-dependent signalling pathway. Recent research has focussed on how these signalling pathways regulate the expression of the SCFSkp2 ubiquitin ligase protein Skp2 which is an important cell cycle regulator.
