	11th December - Posada Party


	Yes - our posada party will be back again this year! In response to last year's overwhelming attendance and enjoyment we are preparing another great party. We hope to live up to our reputation of organising a really original Christmas party. The Posada is a Mexican tradition which we would like to share with you this Christmas. We will have piñatas, drinks, games and music as is custom for this event. Again, we will start off in Dean's Court with the food, drink, live performances, before moving on to Fiesta Havana for a big night of dancing and partying! This time however, we will have a LIVE Mariachi band playing for us at Dean's Court, giving an extra Mexican feeling to the night. And if that weren't enough, we will have a LIVE band playing at Fiesta Havana: GRUPO ASERE. So don't miss this great opportunity for a great night! 	18th November - Cookery Workshop


	Our new venture this year is about to become reality. This is your chance to learn how to cook all those wonderful Mexican things that you always wanted to know how to make authentically. For this first introductory workshop we have put together a menu of numerous simple to make but exquisitely tasting dishes such as your all-time favourite real guacamole, different types of salsa and quesadillas and a surprise dessert! There are a limited number of people who can attend due to the size of the kitchen so sign up as quickly as possible. 	29th - 30th November - REACH Global


	REACH Global is this year's name for what used to be called the One World Day. Of course we will be there to represent the Mexican and Latin American culture on this day. Considering we have been voted the best stall and performance for two years in a row, we couldn't help organise another strong prescence. As usual we will have our stall full of Mexican decorations and handicrafts. We hope to be able to give you a literal taste of Mexico with great food as well. Of course, this is your chance to come and ask any questions you have about Mexico, join our society or just have a chat in Spanish with us. We will be delighted to talk to you! And then of course we will be putting on some performances. There will be Salsa due to the applause we received last year consequentially winning us "Best Preformance". There will also be traditional Mexican dances and other shows.

	1st November - Mexican Film Evening: Frida


	As part of our cultural commitment, we are showing the film Frida. It is about the life of the very famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo who lived during the earlier part of last century. We strongly welcome you to come and enjoy this great film which caused much sensation when it was released. This is your chance to see it on a big screen. 	31st October - Bailando Con Los Muertos: Day of the Dead Party


	This year we have teemed up with Bristol's resident Latin community to bring you a taste of how our cultures celebrate this interesting and important day. But don't think that this means it will be boringly cultural - NO! Read on.... After the massive success of the Welcome Fiesta Mexicana, we have arranged a party at Fiesta Havana for this year's Day of the Dead party. "Bailando con los Muertos" means "Dancing with the Dead" - and thats our theme. As such we will dispense with the usual boring Halloween decorations, and will instead have some stunning Mexican culture around the club. To dance with the dead, all you have to do is come along to Fiesta Havana on Friday the 31st of October - yes, a Friday! From 9:00pm til 2:00am. Price: • Non Members: £4.00 • Members: £3.00 Don't forget that by coming and having fun, you are also supporting street children in Mexico. So write it down in your diary and we look forwards to seeing you!

	We are organizing our big welcome party once again, for all of you who want to experience the Latin magic. Come along, even if you haven't already signed up at FRESH - its free to all!
