The
University of Bristol Japanese Society, affiliated with the
University of Bristol Union is still considerably young: It
was started only since 1999. Despite this, we have been receiving
promising response from people who are eager to join our society,
and we hope that in the near future the reputation and size
of the Japanese Society will grow even more!
The
aims of our society, as stated in Section 2 of the Constitution
of the Japanese Society of the University of Bristol, are three-fold:
(A)
To promote awareness and understanding of Japanese culture among
Japanese and non-Japanese people who are interested in the culture.
(B)
To provide opportunities for people who are interested in Japanese
culture to meet Japanese people and others through organised events.
(C)
To provide a bridge for Japanese students studying in Bristol
to get to know each other.
Well,
if you are interested in learning different cultures, why not
join us? Everyone is welcomed. Also, if you would like to contact
one of us, the list of the committee members and their e-mail
addresses are on the Committee page. Alternatively, you can also
