Who we are

Our laboratory studies autoimmune inflammation, particularly as it relates to two different human diseases, uveitis and multiple sclerosis. We’re based in the School of Medical Sciences at Bristol University. We have strong collaborative (and administrative) links with the Division of Ophthalmology, which is part of Clinical Sciences South Bristol and based at the Bristol Eye Hospital.

The lab is mainly a mixture of PhD students and Post-Doctoral Research Assistants, but Clinical Research Fellows and occasionally Visiting Fellows also work in the lab. We offer practical projects for undergraduate students who are studying for degrees in immunology and related disciplines. These are organised through the department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine.
