Outdoor Regionals, 2009-2010, Cardiff Mythago 1 Mythago 1 excelled themselves, making up for the 3v4 defeat at indoor regionals, with a victory over Skunks on day 1. This placed us in a good position to make Div1, but with a lot of work still to do. Defeat in the 1v4 by Cardiff, then a win against Bath in the 3v4 put us into the 2v3 against Exeter with a chance of sealing a Div1 nationals spot. Only sudden death could separate the teams, with us being edged out 8-7 (I think). This tight loss was hard to take and meant we had to play Skunks again in the 3v4 - a repeat of Indoor regionals. Luckily, the game went our way this time meaning we had repaied them for beating us twice Indoors. And so with that victory, and finishing 3rd, a Div1 spot was ours. This success was widely thought to be a result of getting a takeaway pizza the night before - a difficult decision that we're glad paid off. Mythago 2 The seconds had a really tough group on day 1, with three first teams. However, a magnificent second day - with a particularly excellent victory over (a some-what-hungover) Ugly Ducklings meant they finished a respectable 12th. Back to Results.
