Indoor Regionals, 2009-2010, Plymouth Mythago1 Mythago 1 had a fairly simple path through on day one, but a close game against a stronger-than-expected Skunks team left them a mountain to climb to make Div1. Heartbreak follwed as after battling back up to 4th on day 2, another defeat by Skunks in the 3v4 meant that the firsts had to settle for 4th and a place at Div2 Nationals. The general feeling in the camp was that if the seedings/crossovers had fallen the other way round then qualification to Div1 would have been easier. But either way, Div2 was a good outcome. Mythago 2 & 3 The second team started very strongly, but the crossovers placed them in a mean group and they faded, losing all their games on day 2. The thirds however put together some memorable performances on day 2, beating - amoung others - MWCISEE 1 to reach the plate final! A defeat by Bournemouth put a little dampner on the weekend, but their performance was outstanding. Easily the best 3rd team placing of the weekend, and they actually won more games than the seconds... Back to Results.
