| Welcome
to the University of Bristol rugby league website. The club was founded
at Bristol in 1998, since then it has developed enormously. The 2000/01
season has been our most successful yet, with the club securing local
sponsorship and recording a record number of victories. Bristol also
hosted the first ever annual student rugby league 9's
tornament in the west, in which we came 3rd.

If
you like rugby union you will love rugby league, it is a faster and
more phsical game with lots of running and tackling. League is a game
where if you want the ball you just go to where the play is and ask
for it. Most of our members are ex-union players who got bored, if
you are one of these play a game of league for us. I guarantee you
