WIM

For those of you who might be interested in going to WiM, the application is online. Go to

www.rev.org.uk and then click the big white box in the top right

corner that says 'WiM 2005 Apply now!'. Any questions do not hesitate to ask Helen.....

If you are going and want to be a little more involved, the perfect

job opportunity has come up for first time wimmers. There are still

spaces for bond group leaders (a very easy job involving reading out

insructions to a small group of people). If you're interested just let me know.

Social Ideas

We need to know what you want to do! Email me or Amy with any ideas of things that you'd like to do for socials next year.

Get involved!

We are always looking for people who want to teach a song, or do the warm ups for the choir. If you don't feel you have the confidence, or you just don't want to teach, but have a song you'd like us to do, just let us know! If you want to get involved in any way, just talk to and member of the committee at the rehearsals, or email one of us (links on the committee page). Also, if anyone has ideas for the website, just let me know!!!

November 2004: Weekend Away

We're having a weekend away, YAY!!! It will be from the evening of Friday the 12th of November, to the afternoon of Sunday the 14th of November (so no lectures/practicals will be missed....), and it will be in Warwick. This is a chance to get away with Rev, and have some fun with your own choir members, and also with the members of the other choirs in our region too. It's a fantastic chance to meet new people and learn new songs, and also skills, as you will probably be able to take part in warm up/conducting/arranging workshops. It also allows us as a Bristol choir to get involved with national. So, keep the date in your diary, and more info will be passed on to you when I get it!

October 2004: National Forum

It's national forum on Saturday 23rd of October. Helen will be heading to Keele. Please can you email her or let her know if there is anything that you want brought up with the National staff.

October 2004: First Social of New year

Our first social is going to be following the first rehearsal on Tuesday, in the Epi bar. Just a chance to catch up with old members and meet the new, with cheap drinks to ease the way.....hope to see you all there!

Performances

Coming up we have the SCA Kids Christmas Party, on Saturday the 4th of December, at Churchill Hall. Unfortunately this isn't an open concert, and is only for the joy of the SCA and the kids! Ooh, and of course we get to meet Santa!!

Coming Soon.....

Revelation have decided that each choir will be recording a song for a Revelation Christmas CD. We'll be deciding on suggestions for the song we want to sing in time for October Forum. Other than that, we can all look forward to being on a CD as Bristol Rev!

Another Chinese Karaoke Social I hear you cry? Well then, we will! Amy is currently trying to organise this, so just keep your eyes on this page....

I'm currently compiling all of the words to the songs, and so will hopefully have them all on the website before too long!! No excuses after that for not knowing the words, as they will be accessible to all!

Also, we're thinking of having T-shirts/hoodies. Watch this space....
