Biography
After teaching in a primary school in south east London, I worked as an Educational Psychologist in Manchester. I then returned to London, taking up a post as an associate tutor on the Educational Psychology Professional Training course at University College, London. Following this I became a Senior Educational Psychologist in Islington.
After 14 years as an Educational Psychologist I was appointed as a Senior Lecturer (special educational needs), later becoming head of the Psychology Department at Bath Spa University.
I joined the Graduate School of Education in 2000.

14-19 Reforms: The Centre Research Study (CREST), Disability Data Collection for Children's Services, Participation in Education Project (PIE), Literacy Early Action Project (LEAP), South West Autism Project (SWAP), Home School Knowledge Exchange Project.
