Biography

My fourteen-year experience of teaching mathematics preceded a more varied life as, simultaneously:

co-editor of the professional journal, Mathematics Teaching (for five years)

curriculum developer and

part-time PGCE mathematics tutor.

I moved to a full-time academic post at the GSoE in 1990.
