Areas of expertise |
Mammalian fertility: sperm function (& stem cell biology: erythropoiesis)
At present our research is focused on two distinct areas:
Study of sperm maturation and function with the aim of increasing our understanding of male fertility, as well as to develop novel contraceptive strategies.
Proteomic profiling of erythropoesis in vitro from human CD34 + stem cells to understanding the underlying mechanisms of erythroid differentiation and enable analysis of factors that influence proliferation and differentiation.
