| Areas of expertise | My field of study is early Greek literature. I have become involved in the campaign to complete the excavation of the Villa of the Papyri at Herculaneum. I have founded the Bristol Institute of Hellenic and Roman Studies which promotes research into both Classics and the Classical Tradition, with particular emphasis on the links between ancient and modern worlds. |
