Steven Falk - pollinator workshops

Steven Falk is the author of the first ever field guide to British bees (Field Guide to the Bees of Great Britain & Ireland, Bloomsbury 2015) as well as Warwickshire's Wildflowers and co-author of British Hoverflies

After the success of his pollinator walks earlier this year in the Botanic Garden he will be condcuting two informal and fun pollinator workshops. During an hour and a half you will catch bees to stroke or look at in tubes (completely harmless for the bee), and talk about assorted topics e.g. lifecycles, pollination, food production, identification, mimicry, nesting. 

Both workshops take place on the same day, one at 11am and the second at 2pm, each lasting for 1h 30 minutes each; the first half will be theory workshop to identify bees and the second a walk around the Garden to find them.
