Description including Unit Aims

The unit introduces students to advanced image processing techniques and their application in the field of computer vision.

Aims:

To introduce you to principles, basic techniques and advanced topics in Computer Vision and Image Processing.

Intended Learning Outcomes

At the end of the unit you will understand the theory and mathematical techniques of image processing and computer vision. Practical classes expose you to the technology and software used in image analysis and manipulation.
