Description including Unit Aims

Mandatory for the Joint Honours students in Philosophy and Psychology who are NOT taking unit PSYC31013. The main body of the project is not to exceed 4,000 words (excluding the reference list, tables and appendices). The project is to be based on empirical investigations carried out by the student, with guidance from the project Supervisor (approx. 12 tutorials).

Intended Learning Outcomes

The project is an opportunity for you to put into practice the research skills that you have developed over the first 2 years of the programme. Working with the guidance of a supervisor, you will design, develop, run, analyse and write up a piece of original research.
