The unit is designed for dentists who have completed the Diploma in Dental Postgraduate Studies to study by research for a Masters Degree. The research will normally be conducted in the dental practice. The unit requires the student to design a research project, collect, analyse and report the finding in a written dissertation. Entry into the programme will be competitive based on a draft research proposal.
