Unit aims are:
To equip students with the analytical apparatus needed to assess alternative policy measures directed at improving macroeconomic performance of developing countries.
Weekly lectures and fortnightly small group tutorials
Summative assessment: Three-hour closed book examination in summer term: 100%. The examination will test the ability of students to critically analyse a range of policy measures designed at improving macroeconomic performance in developing countries,
Formative assessment: Each student will submit one essay, randomly distributed from a set of five questions.
